This is one of only a couple of hotels in the town of Hutchinson, so choice is limited. I chose this hotel from other reviews, as it seemed the best in the area.
It is very oddly set out as many of the rooms including the one I had are internal rooms, so have no windows to the outside.
I had a business room, which included Internet access and a desk, although I did not use these facilities for the night I stayed so cannot comment on their ease of use etc.
My room had two queen beds, a TV with loads of channels, although no pay-movies. There was a wardrobe, basin and coffee maker.
The bathroom was small but had a jet bath with shower over and toilet. The shower was not as powerful as you find in most hotels but was adequate.
The room in all was perfectly adequate and clean.
Be warned that there are no elevators in the hotel and although there are only 2 floors, you will still have to carry your luggage up stairs if on the upper floor.
Breakfast was served in the restaurant on the ground floor and was one of the worst breakfasts I have ever seen. There were some pieces of bread – brown and cinnamon with a toaster. Some small muffins, brightly coloured cereals, boiled eggs, tea, coffee or orange juice.
For a night or two the hotel is fine, but I wouldn’t want to stay here for a long period, especially in an internal room. Also, I would go elsewhere for breakfast.
