The good: Great location near the main street, friendly hosts, and large made-to-order breakfasts. We stayed in the summer house, which turned out to be a little cottage built along the side of their home. It was very bright and airy, with a full kitchen, unusual shower, and comfortable bed.
The bad: You need to the keep all the blinds shut if you want privacy. No amenities, so bring your own soap, etc. If you take the Akaroa shuttle from Christchurch, ask the driver to drop you off. I give a big thumbs up to this place. Be sure to say hi to Max the dog for me.
