South Coast Hotel & Casino

The South Coast Casino and hotel is one of the nicest hotels I have ever stayed at. Every feature of the hotel was top notch and very well thought out.

The rooms were the nicest part of the entire hotel. Every room has a 42” plasma T.V. The T.V. does not have a VCR or DVD player but there are inputs on the side of the T.V. The room also has an alarm clock that includes an input for any type of MP3 or CD Player. The beds were incredibly comfortable and the sheets complemented the mattress very well.

The bathroom and shower area are just as nice as the room. The shower and toilet are sectioned of from the sink. The shower has a giant rain shower head, an extended shower curtain, and large tiles throughout the bathroom. This made the bathroom very comfortable. Included with the room are some of the nicest shower products that you will find. The coffee maker only makes one cup at a time and there are no coffee cups in the room.

I requested a room very high up and I was given a room on the 24th floor. There are 25 stories that make up the hotel. Although the Hotel is not located on the strip, there is a good view if you are on a top floor.

The best deal is the breakfast buffet. A coupon book is included with the room and there is a coupon for buy one get on free at the buffet. This cuts the price way down even though the buffet would be worth it at full price. Every possible breakfast food can be found at the buffet and it was well worth it.

Not only are there many slot machines but there is also a 64 lane bowling ally and a movie theater. The bowling ally only costs a few bucks to play. There is also a large bingo hall next to the bowling ally.

The pool is not very big for the size of the casino but it fits very well with it. Towels are available right next to the pool.

I highly recommend staying at this hotel. Even though the Hotel and Casino is not located on the strip it is made up with all of the amenities. There is also a shuttle that leaves from the hotel and takes you to the strip if you want to go.

South Coast Hotel & Casino

This hotel opened in December 2005 and has so many wonderful features. The rooms are spacious, with plasma TVs hanging above the dresser! The bathrooms have granite countertops, and the showers have 12" tiling, which makes it very visually appealing! Very clean and well-lit halls welcome you.

There are several restaurants to choose from, all having wonderful food: Italian, steak, oyster bar, buffet... multiple choices!

Convenience is built in as they have free shuttle to/from the airport and free shuttle service to their sister property, the Barbary Coast on the strip. This allows you to get away from the strip, yet go down to it to experience that excitement as well!

This property is well worth it!
