Moffett House

I imagine Moffett House is typical of Provincetown inns. The house is old and attractive—shingled like most of the other houses in town. It’s homey and pleasant. It has a small yard enclosed by a white picket fence, with a couple of tables and some chairs, which must be a nice place to sit when the weather's warmer.We got a great price on our rooms since it was off-season. Our rooms were small but very comfortable. We had one room with a private bath and one small room for our teenager, under the eaves with a sloping roof, and a shared bath. All rooms had cable TV with a DVD player, and there was a library of DVDs in the living room. There was also a computer in the living room available to use, and wireless Internet, which we used.The hostess, Stephanie, was available whenever we needed help or had questions. Guests are free to use the kitchen, and Stephanie left out bagels, orange juice, and coffee every morning. There were several other guests, and the atmosphere was friendly and low-key. It’s on a walkway off the main street. We enjoyed our time there very much and would stay there again.
