Very pleased with all aspects of the hotel and amenities. Had more to offer than the descriptions I found online. Also the location couldn't have been better, able to walk or take a bus to all the sites.

BE ADVISED: Excessively loud nightclub noise/music is a real problem at this hotel. The hotel is surrounded by three nightclubs and they are permitted to party on until 5:00 am, or beyond, seven days a week! These are open air nightclubs, so the building does not contain the sound. The open style hotel architecture and single pane windows, that do not seal, contributes to the transmission of this offensive sound. These clubs go long and loud even if they have only a few customers. One morning I visited these clubs at 2:30 am, because I was unable to sleep. Carlos & Charlies had only a few customers and Park Royal had seven customers, all were seated at the bar. No one appeared to be particularly interested in the music, but the music volume was still excessive! When they do have a large group of people the noise is unbearable, especially when they add a screaming D.J. to the scenario. I spent the last two weeks of January 2008 at this hotel. The excessively loud music, especially the booming base and the highly amplified D.J. chatter, was very annoying and it limited my ability to sleep. I know that other guests had the same problem and some insisted that they be moved to another hotel.\nBefore I chose this hotel I was aware that the Carlos & Charlies nightclub was adjoining the hotel property and I knew that it would be loud. I also knew that if I was given a room on that end of the hotel I would eventually be able to change rooms. That is what happened, so I asked the hotel management to move me far away from Carlos & Charlies. They moved me to the other end of the hotel, but they never informed me that there is another nightclub adjoining this end of the hotel, on the Park Royal property! Nor did they inform me that there is a city night club across the city boulevard facing the front of the hotel! I had to learn all of this the hard way.... I moved rooms four times and there was no escaping the noise! A room on th Close

We had just a wonderful time. The staff is the best! Great Service overall. H and C were the absolute best!! The only complaint I would have is there was a few too many kids.

Front desk personnel are friendly & efficient. Hercules is the best poolside server! Food is excellent. Room cleaned early each day and attention to artistic floral/towel arrangements. All personnel is friendly and helpful.
