Absoulute best hotel we've ever stayed in. We stayed at this hotel for 10 days while we were looking for a house. The rooms have full sized fridges, microwaves, cd player, dvd player, and nice touches like night lights and a small vanity mirror you might use when putting on makeup. The hotel offers free dvds (new releases too, not just old stuff) at the front desk, free snacks, and the best part -- a full, cook to order breakfast at no charge. The breakfast is served in their restaraunt and it is first class. Very clean, nice hotel and their rates were great.
Great place to stay for Wine Tasting in the area

A last minute decision to head up to the Solvang, Santa Barbara County area for wine tasting lead us to this hotel. Of course it's summer and there are no rooms ANYWHERE, what are you thinking? So I did some googling and found this Best Western. I had seen reviews on other sites that it was actually quite nice. The check in was a breeze, the gentleman behind the counter was beyond helpful, almost too cheery! But I'll take too cheery over I-could-care-less anyday. They offer over 300 DVDs for check (free!) but we weren't in the room long enough for that to matter. It is a quick 25 min. drive to Buellton/Solvang, it is very close to Melville Winery, and several others along 246. There's a walking distance cafe that blew our socks off (Jalama Beach Cafe, home of the famous Jalama Burger), there's a walking distance convenience store and even a stumbling distance bar (DJ's) that had a friendly bartender and an ok band. I highly recommend this hotel as a stop if you're driving the Nor Cal/SoCal tour, or if you can't find that perfect Inn right in Solvang. Two Thumbs UP!

I loved everything about this place. My room was clean and comfortable, the price was relatively inexpensive (I've stayed at much worse for much more), and the staff were incredibly helpful, friendly, and accomodating. I took advantage of the free continental breakfast, free movie rentals (even current titles), and free internet access in the lobby. This was, without question, one of my best hotel experiences.
