Buisness trips in Las Vegas

I make frequent trips to Las Vegas on buisness and although I found that the majority of the hotels I have stayed at are nice, it's just that I would rather not stay at a casino. The casino's do have decent prices however they all tend to hit you with amenity charges upon check out.
Also the cacino prices never stay the same. I have found that the price for the same stay could vary as much as $* a night. My stay at the Hawthorn suites will not be my last. It is conveniently located and very cofortable. The continental breakfast is one of the best I've had and the resturant and casino next door has an excellent menu.
The overall rating of this hotel is grossly under rated.

The lobby was nice the staff was plesent and helpfull. The room was clean and the decor did not hurt your eyes. Many unexpected extras make this reasonably priced hotel a real good value. In the room TV, fridge, microwave, coffee maker and coffee, toiltries, toothbrush, Iiron, ironing board, wood hangers.. And to our delight a full breakfest is served starting at 6:30 AM in the small dining area in the lobby bacon, eggs, waffles, bagles, hashbrowns, fruit, cerals, coffee, juice, milk

Although this is a newer hotel, it is starting to become run down. The rooms have cheap furniture and decor that is not well maintained. The shower is a joke, it slows to a trickle when a toilet is flushed. It allows dogs on even upper stories, so be prepared for a kennel experience from your adjoining room. Decent breakfeast and good access is the pluses. Low rent at not so low prices.
