Not worth the price

The gal at the front desk was cheery and helpful. The accomodations were hardly 3 star. The room layout was not at all what was shown on the internet. The door jam was broken, the toilet ran all night and the sink dripped. Maintenance could be improved. Probably would not stay there again. Only for a reduction in price. Not at all worth the price.

Best thing about this hotel is where it is located. Brentwood is an upscale suburb of Nashville. Very highend housing market. Was supprised to find an affordable hotel in this city. Lots of stores and restaurants nearby. Very convenient to highways and to downtown Nashville in less then 30 minutes. From the outside the hotel is very neat and clean with pretty grounds. We stayed with two dogs and had plenty of areas to go walking them. Of course, for a moderate price in such a nice neighborhood there has to be a downside. The downside is the rooms. We stayed in both a Queen room and then a King and the King was much better, not just because of the llarger and better bed. There was a lot more room and the furnishings were a bit newer. Kitchen facilities were basic, fridge, two burner stove, sink and microwave, no oven. A table that can sit two. Furnishings are very basic and not new. The photos you see at Extended Stay on line and even in the photos at the hotel (one in the laundry room) look nothing like what you are going to get at the hotel. Basically, if you want a hotel that will not cost you a lot but is in a good neighborhood, than this is it. If you are looking for even anything above the basics, pay more and go elsewhere. We stayed for a month while looking to relocate to Nashville.

When we arrived the front desk was very helpful and friendly. Our room wasn't so great. It was clean, but tiny. The kitchen appliances were old and below standard. Our bathroom smelled like cigarette smoke even though it was a non-smoking room. The pictures make it look like a hotel, but it's a motel with outdoor hallways. We stayed on the third floor and there were no elevators, we carried our luggage up the flights of stairs in the snow. The room is described as "oversized studio suites" with a "large work desk" but this was not the case when we arrived. The wireless internet came with an extra fee. It was definitely not the best deal for our money. Still, the staff was very courteous and check in and check out were very fast.

Quite pleasantly surprised. The rooms we stayed in had apparently just been redone-new carpet, paint, bedspreads, etc. Was very clean and an amazing value for the price. Would stay there again.
