This hotel looked much nicer in the photos. Hotel was not clean, many things were broken. Decor was from 1980's. No technology, old small tv and actual keys to room. Housekeeping never did come by. They do not replace any of your amenities (soap, toilet paper, etc) -they tell you this when checking in. The only good thing was the pool was clean and the view was wonderful. All together very disappointed.

It was a great place to stay,i have told all my friends to stay there,and thats where they are going to stay.This the best place i have ever stayed.i cant beleave any one could that it is bad place to stay.If you want a great place to stay,and for your hard earned money,stay here.It puts you in the best location on the beach.ILL BE BACK.

Took our 6 month and 4 yr old grandsons with us and went slow season so they would not be crowded. The room was clean, staff great, facilities great, location perfect. Beds need new matresses but they were clean. I had worried when I read one bad review here but the place was perfect for us. Long term residents were also very friendly and helpful. We will return.

We looked for a nice comfortable place to stay on a limited budget. WE FOUND PARADISE!!! Nice people, great rooms, easy access to the beach, and a beautiful pool. We are going to make Labor Day at "Top of the Gulf" a tradition for our family. Thanks Top of the Gulf and online travel website!!
