The room had a nice view and the bathroom was quite luxurious, but the electronics all seemed fairly dated. One television in my room was from the 70's and the picture was off. The staff was helpful though. They were doing construction in the room next to mine during the day, so I inquired about the noise. They offered me a new room if it was distracting me for no upcharge. The sink also began to leak at one point and it took them a total of five minutes to send up a repairman and have the entire problem fixed.
Beware of $35 parking fines

The parking lot is a huge ground level open parking lot. It is actually a paid parking lot requiring the guests or banquet attendees to pay a small fee. However, there is one ticket dispenser, one very small, barely noticeable sign on a lamp post at one end of the driveway to indicate pay parking. The Hilton security guards issue $35 parking fines for the Town of Markham. This is absolutely unacceptble. Guests were never notified of the parking fee at check in.

This hotel is too old. You need to pay for parking even though it is located in a suburb. The bed is way to soft.

Overall OK, not the newest but clean and comfortable beds, didn't use parking so don't know their fees for that, ver good location if you need to be in Markham, good connection to Pearson airport, broadband internet access included in rooms, some free bottles of water would be appreciated, checkinf room bill on tv was not easy (infopack outdated), no info was given on Daylight savings time change (different from Europe) and it took staff to days to adjust clocks in rooms and guest can not change themselves ...

I stayed at this hotel earlier this week and had a wonderful time. The staff are amazing and really cared how I was and if I was comfortable. Would highly recommend this property to anyone
