Great place for early morning flyers

My husband and I have stayed here several times because of a great park-n-fly deal. I like Qwik Park, which is just next door, and they have a fair rate that includes a hotel stay and 8 days of parking. Their vans are always reliable and after having used several other similar services in the area, I keep going back to the La Quinta-Qwik Park deal. They have king-sized beds that are comfortable and the room and bathroom are reasonably clean with no funky odors. There's a hairdryer too. It's walking distance to some restaurants. We particularly like the Middle Eastern one 2 doors down. There's also an American restaurant next door that lets you buy mini bottles of wine and carry them out, which is nice to help you unwind the night before an early morning flight.

I chose them because of their proximity to airport for my business trips.
Pros:
- Good location
- 24 hour shuttle service - Hotel is next to Qwik Trip parking lot and have arrangemet with it
- Good Wireless Internet
- Moderately priced
Cons
- Rooms are small, and have very small tables to do any work in rooms
- Only phone is on the side of bed - with no speaker phones
- Breakfast selection is minimal - somer cereals, fruits, waffle - no eggs
- Excerise room is very small - I think 8x12 - with only 1 machine
- Business room has fax, and one small printer - good for printing 1-2 pages only

We have used this hotel the past 2 years. Great service all around. The secure parking is very nice. Can't wait to visit again!!

we stayed in the hotel in may of 2006. i am now going on a flight out of detroit again and i am going to book a room again for september. we will definately use this hotel anytime we have an early morning flight from detroit.
