We just came back from St. Thomas and stayed at the Wyndham Bay. It was a lovely hotel, the staff were very courteous albeit a bit slow with service. We paid for a room with a resort view and were pleasantly surprised that we had a partial view of the bay. We had plenty of towels and the toiletries they supplied were excellent. The room did smell a bit musty but I think that can be expected when you are so close to the water.
The price of our trip included breakfast and it also was better than expected. We were entitled to the full buffet which had everything, scrambled egs, hard boiled, fresh omelettes. huge variety of fruits, etc.
There were activities every day and in the evening at no charge. The pool was very nice and right adjacent to the beach. All in all I would highly recommend this hotel.
Do not go there

We were sold an all-inclusive deal by online travel website, but in fact this was false advertising. We therefore had to pay for each and every meal, and prices were very high. Hotel was OK, but is not worth the price. We were very disappointed and came back home with a very empty wallet. We will not use online travel website anymore for our future trips, unless -very unlikely- they compensate us for the moral and financial prejudice we went through.

Bugs and wild cats everywhere - my daughter and I were eaten alive!
Poor housekeeping service - only one visit in four nights! And that was really inadequate!
Everyone checking out at the hotel said the same thing about housekeeping.
Restaurants were extremely expensive and not good. The waitress poured a salad dressing on my salad that I had not ordered on top of the dressing she had already given me???!!!!
Pool staff was inadequate. The staff told guests to remove and dispose of their towels because she was the only person working that day!

My new wife and I stayed here for our homeymoon in March 2009. The rooms were very nice and clean. The staff however was not the most pleasant. The girls at the front counter made you feel like you were bothering them. The brightest spot of the employees was by far a woman who works at the bar by the pool. There really were no scheduled activities to speak of. The beach was secluded but rocky. The bed, at least in our room, was terrible! The food was good, excellent breakfast buffet, very good lunch and dinner never dissappointed us. if you are not on an all-inclusive trip though be carefull, the food and drinks are expensive! This is a very nice resort if you are looking to have down time and be away from all the tourists on the cruise ships, we enjoyed the quiet.
