My overall rating would have been excellent if not for the airconditioning. I complained about the "musty" smell coming from the air conditioner and they attempted to fix it by changing the filter...it didn't work. Overall the staff was excellent. ...Read more

Great view of the harbor and the City. Great location. Superior accomodations. They offered us a free upgrade to the club floor - what a deal!!

My husband and I first tried this hotel last September. We enjoyed it so much that we chose it again for our December trip. The service is excellent, the rooms are spacious and well-appointed. Everything was well worth the amount that we paid for!

The hotel needs serious remodeling. I would have paid extra to stay at the Island Shangri-la in Central right across the harbor. The hotel is right next to star ferry, harbour city mall and space museum. It's far from everything else.

This hotel fell short of what a person expects when it comes to the Shangri-La experience. Rather, I can say its a good hotel for those travellers seeking a more simple five-star hotel, i.e., who doesnt like the upscale type of ambience.
