Great location! Truly worth the money!!

We stayed here for 3 nights during our visit to St. Augustine. Our room was very clean, including the carpet, bedding, and bathroom. The electronic card keys gave us extra security and we always felt safe while in or out of our room. Barnacle Bills Seafood Restaurant was right next door, so we walked over and ate there twice. The food was exceptional. You can buy tickets for the Old Town Trolley at the front desk and catch the trolley right across from the motel anytime from 8am to 4:30pm, which takes you all over the Historic District. It's a fantastic tour! You can hop off anywhere they stop and visit as long as you like, then reboard when another trolley comes along. We didn't even need to use our car. You can walk through the Visitor Center's couryard straight over to the front Gates at St. George Street (3-5 minutes' walk). Shop and eat till' you drop. This is such a convenient location! There are Ghost Tours you can go on, all located right by the Gates at St. George Street. If you're a "ghost fanatic", this is the place for you! There's at least 6-7 (probably more) different ghost tours to choose from with different price ranges, depending on your activity preference.
You'll truly get the most for your money by staying here! We'll definitely be back time and time again!!

I was very hesitant when I was trying to book a hotel in st. augustine. Most reviews of other hotels mentioned roaches and dirty rooms. BW spanish quarters was clean, the staff was friendly, continental breakfast was wonderful, and the location was outstanding! Worth the money, I will def. return to this hotel in the future!!

The rooms were very inviting. The beds had great new comfortors and comftable pillows! Extremely clean and within walking distance to all attractions (We didnt use our car at all). The continental breakfast was great.

Very clean rooms. Nice comfortors on the beds, not the ugly bedspreads in most hotels. The rooms are smaller than average, so it's a bit cramped, but I was impressed with the cleanliness and homey feel of the rooms. Nice pool and hot tub, kids had a blast. Very close to historical part of town, easily walking distance. Trolley stop right in front of hotel. Parking lot is very tight, though. Had a hard time parking in front.
