Starwood Hotel --- Not

Expecting a little more, the front staff was less than mediocre, the rooms try to be upscale but fail miserably, I don't think the maids know how to clean a bathroom (tiny) and I booked a king room originally, they did not honor that and gave me a double, and then acted like it was totally out of there way to get me into a King the next day. I even had to go back twice because the front desk sent me to another double. No breakfast buffet (without paying), a cup of coffee $4.00 c'mon. It would have been $22 more to stay at the Embassy suites, I should have done that but wanted to try a sheraton. There also something to be said about the 'Class of guests' that a hotel has. But I guess when you get it on-line last minute, that is what you get. BTW I think the curtains have not been changed since 1974. I would definanantly not recommmend this hotel to any one that enjoys customer service, and cleanliness. Go to another HOTEL....

disappointed. Houssekeeping was terrible.

The atrium and entrance area was beautiful. Loved the turtles and fish. Housekeeping left a lot to be desired. Hotel accomodations were worse than a no tell motel. My husband had to go to the front desk for clean towels. The construction noises were horrible at 8:00 am on a Sunday mornng. we're glad to know they are renovating what looked like a once beautiful hotel, but they could've started working alittle later in the day. Disapppointed that this hotel carried the Sheraton name.

The dining facility & staff need work.

It took about 40 minutes to get our dinner order at about 8pm.The place was relatively empty. (That should have tipped us off). The most upsetting feature of the meal concerned a tomato that still had the label on it suggesting either they did not wash the tomato properly or worse! I mentioned it to the server & asked that this be shown to the manager. Nothing ever was done about it. The staff needs training. I could not get a a complement of 4 glasses and was told by the maid they just had paper cups!. Finally, I called the registration desk and glasses were provided. Incidentally, the buttons indicating, concierge and some other did not work!. Consider quality control over staff training! On a positive note: the suite was fine otherwise.

I LIKE IT HERE!

My 2nd stay in less than a year. Convenient to everything. Rooms could be spruced up with paint and carpeting, but they were clean and spacious. Nice to see the atrium glass roof is under repair since the severe storm damage. Very bright now. Love the pool area. Hope the sauna is also operational soon as well.
