A Little Better Than A Motel 6

This hotel is not better than a Motel 6. Bed spread had a nasty brown stain on it, the bath towels were skimpy, the soaps and lotions were cheap, the furniture showed wear, pilliows were uncomfortable, heater was noisy, walls were paper thin (you could hear everything in the next room), T.V. reception on some channels was poor, desk clerk was inexperienced, and the room was $20,00 more on online travel than the advertised walk-in rate of $39.95. Best feature was a very nice business desk/work area in room and close proximity of 2 restaurants.

A truly basic room, at a basic price. As in all things, you get what you pay for. This was the last hotel left in town with vacant rooms (I wonder why?!) so I had no other option. Everything's very run down, and my non-smoking room stank so badly of smoke that it took several washes to get the smell out of my clothes and hair. Receptionists barely made eye contact. On the plus side, it's in a very convenient location close to restaurants, mall and freeway.
