Stay Here in Chincoteague

We've stayed in three other hotels in Chincoteague - this one is by far our favorite. The facility is wonderful; the staff is outstanding. It is located right in town; restaurants and shops are within easy walking distance. Many rooms have balconies overlooking the waterway; sunset finds many guests out on the verandah or balconies taking pictures of the sun setting over the water.
Rooms are extremely comfortable and very well appointed. Great complementary cooked breakfast. Well maintained indoor pool.
This has been voted the Best Hampton Inn in America -with good reason.

I've visited Chincoteague often over the past 20 years but had never stayed in the newer hotels. The Hampton Inn on Main Street offered excellent and clean accomodations for a very reasonable price. Staff were genial and helpful and there is a small but well-maintained workout area. I will look forward to staying here again and am glad to see that the Island now has such a nice place to stay. Bed was excellent but the continental breakfast was forgettable. Coffee was good though.

Voted the "best Hampton Inn in the country," I could surely see why. The rooms were clean, the food was decent, but best of all, we had a view of the waterfront and the crab-trapping boats.
