If you like filthy accomodations and rude staff, stay at Hilton Head Beach and Tennis Resort. Upon arrival, our room smelled like urine and had visible "dirtiness" in the bathroom, kitchen, on the carpet, and on the bedspread. The staff was less than concerned abour our complaints, and offered us only one option: pay extra for an "upgraded" room. If we were colleg kids on spring break in Daytona Beach, this resort may have been borderline acceptable, but not as adults vacationing on Hilton Head Island...
Great value if you just want to be near the beach

We booked with this resort because it had the lowest price point, and consequently lowered our expectations. We were pleasantly surprised when we discovered that our room offered all we needed and more: sleeps 4, 1.5 bath, balcony, Internet access, kitchenette, DVD player, adequate parking, and beachfront access. We aren't fussy travelers: just wanted a clean place to stay near the beach. Will definitely go back if we return to HHI.
Bad Overall

I have never had an experiance like this one. The bed was leaning to one side, sand on the floors, bath tub was dirty and the lining was dirty. I was afraid to open my luggage. Management charge me a cleaning fee even though it was dirty upon arrival.

Nice, small condo with two bedrooms and a queen pull out sofa. Accommodations were nice and would be great for families with children.
