Stay at a Motel 6 instead!

I do not recommend this hotel. It was dirty, cigarette butts littered the driveway when I checked in. Room was not in good shape either. Maid service was terrible. I had coffee the first morning with only decaf to choose from. During the rest of my stay maid didn't clean coffee pot out or leave anymore coffee. She also didn't clean and dispose of the trash in the room (coke bottles, empty snack bags, etc.). On the second day when I arrived back to my room it reeked of pesticide spray. Complained at front desk and asked for manager to call me to explain why they sprayed the room without first getting my consent. Manager never called me to explain or to apologize. Also, there were no ice machines on any of the floors. I had to go to the front desk and dig for ice out of a cooler sitting on the floor when ever I wanted it. Parking was very inadequate - after 9 PM you probably won't find a place anywhere to park your car! Will never stay there again.

Ok lets start with being placed in a way back building they like to call the "Villa Building", Villa in Hilton Head must mean crackhouse. The room had no phone, dirty sheets, "items" in the tolet, no cable, and a small dog running around the outside hall with someone speaking something chasing it. Oh and lots of spiders for your enjoyment as well, lovely. We went back to the front, where the person at the desk was saying quote, "it aint my problem they haven't paid you, I am just glade my paycheck aint bounced yet", I must have given her a puzzled look, because she said oh sorry that was the trash people, I guess we haven't paid them, and she laughed. I infomred her we would not stay in the back building, she said we could get a room in the main building, but it would be two beds not one, we went up a looked at it, it was wonderful, that is if you like mold and the smell of feet. Frankly this place is a true joke, it ruins the island, Hilton head should shut it down, this is not what Hilton Head is about, frankly we thought it was the United Nations, Russans, Mexicans, Cubans, oh my. Needless to say we left, went to the Holiday Inn, you should too. The Holiday Inn is not great, but after seeing this dump, it was the Ritz. JUST STAY FAR FAR AWAY FROM THIS PLACE, IT IS A MESS!!!

My family and I stayed at this hotel and thought it was very nice. We were surprised at how close to the beach we were for the low amount of money they charged us. The people who work in the hotel were pleasant and tried very hard to make sure that we were happy and liked our room. It was a neat and clean place to be with my children.
The POW camp I was in was nicer

I was a P.O.W. from Korea, and I had a nicer place to stay then. This place should be closed. I checked in was told my room was in the "villa" building, villa building more like hooker and drug dealer camp. I checked out within an hour, the manager would not even come out of the office to see us, this place ruins Hilton Head, the island should close it down right away.

Frankly I was shocked. I do some work with the local Chamber of Commerce on the island, and it had been recommended to me to stay her during a trip I took last February. I was told they had a great new General Manager and that he had made some wonderful changes already. I took the advise, and had a nice stay, in February. I visited with the GM although briefly, he told me about all the upgrades and improvements on the way, and basically convinced me to book my vacation here. I was really looking forward to the trip. THIS ALL CHANGED QUICKLY!!!!!!! When I arrived the place looked like a scene from a bad movie, I thought I was in Mexico City or something. Trash all over the parking lot, spilling out of the dumpster. I walked in to the lobby, checked in got a key to a ?SUITE? when I walked into the room, NO sheets on the bed, dirty pots on the little stove, and some kind of old fish in the fridge. To make it worse someone had used the bathroom, and forgotten to flush. I went down and asked for the Manager I was told he was out, out of his mind is more like it to think anyone would stay at this rat hole, I left went to the Beach Walk, trust me you should to SAVE YOUR SELF DON?T STAY HERE.
