Quote: The staff seemed nice. The room was not properly stocked. For instance there were no bags in trash. The breakfast was good. This was an ok hotel.

Dirty

Quote: We stayed here for a weekend trip (2 nights) to St Louis with kids. It was disgusting- dated is one thing, but dirty is quite another. The dirty towels were not picked up after the first day- there was hair(not ours) on the bath tub. We made coffee the first morning- it was not cleaned up and they didn't replenish for the next day- guess they didn't want us to use the coffee maker again. The outside of the hotel looks ok, but the room was just dirty. I didn't even want to take off my shoes on the carpet in the room. The sheets on both the full size beds had holes in them and were so worn you could see through them. When we returned home, all of our clothes and our suitcases smelled of smoke (we had a non-smoking room). We stayed and made... Read More

Friendly Staff

Quote: The Staff was very friendly and professional. They printed directions to the Airport and Shopping center for me which where accurate. High Speed Internet is available but wireless, which should have been mentioned. The room was okay but missing a few things like the comforter, ashtray (was a smoking room) and coffeepot.

Quote: The entire time I was at the La Quinta the Phone in the room did not work. I was there trying to do business, for example I had meetings with the Mayor of Pagedale and the Board of Alderman and could not conduct business with them or the broker of property I was purchasing. That made things very difficult and still had to pay full price for room and did not get full use of room.....

Fit the need

Very dirty carpet....tells everything

Quote: After 5 hr. driving I was waiting to arrive to a very clean hotel/Motel, based on the information that I got and the pictures that you can find in the web. When we arrived the first impression was nice, the breakfast area was clean and very well organized despite of the available space. But everything changed when we saw the carpet at room. I was scared to walk without shoes. My little 10month son, has to stay in the play ground all weekend. I asked to change the room but they were unable to find another one available at that time. In fact since we arrive until we check out nobody vacuum the carpet.

You get what you pay for.
