Good quality for the price

I had a wonderful stay at this hotel. It was in a safe part of Detroit. My vehicle was safe and my family felt safe. We were here for a funeral and the hotel staff was very helpful in making out stay comfortable. I picked this hotel for the indoor heated pool, the hot tub, the nice breakfast which includes fresh made waffles, eggs, and usually a cooked meat. The breakfast is nice. The pool was nice. They also have a decent small exercise room. I was disappointed that the hot tub was not working. This seems to be an ongoing problem with the Comfort Suites chain. I stayed at one in Atlanta in March and their hot tub was not working neither. Since this is one of my main reasons for booking the hotel, I will call ahead next time to make sure that the hot tub is in service. I was very disappointed that it was broke. That is usually a highlight for my family when we travel. I may have to look into other hotel chains that actually keep their hot tubs working.
