Not worth the trip

To start off, the staff was very impolite to us when we arrived in the lobby. We tried to check in, but it turns out that they gave both our rooms away because we were "late" - however we had already booked in advance and paid for the entire stay online They did not even call us to tell us our rooms were given away, and had the audacity to blame us for being late, EVEN THOUGH WE PAID FOR THE ROOMS ALREADY. We had to book at another hotel in NYC, which was only $ more per room. Refund process is STILL unsettled!
Very rude, very unpleasant experience, plus $8+ toll to get into NYC, this hotel is DEFINITELY NOT WORTH THE "SAVINGS"!
Right price in the right place

We stayed there in October of 2008 and this was not our first stay at this hotel.
This is not a fancy hotel, it is on a very busy highway and there is some traffic noise in the background.
The location is very good for somebody visiting NY driving. You start the car and you are on the GW Bridge.
Clean, free parking and the price is right too.
We have not tried their restaurant other than for breakfast and it was acceptable.

everything for the most part was 'ok'. Except the resturant was terrible. We wanted a nice dinner and paid over dollars for a steak that came with 5 beans and 10 fries. The steak was ordered medium rare and came still alive. It was so disgusting I couldnt finish it. I would have said something but our waiter never came back after dropping the food off until the check came which had his automatic $ gratuity posted on it. We were afraid the rest of our stay to ask the hotel for anything in fear that they would charge us on the credit card we left them at the front desk. Don't eat there.

The accomodations were nice.
Bed was comfortable and the room was clean.
Microwave and mini-fridge
No view to speak of from our room, but that doesn't really mean that much to me.
The only negative thing that I have to say about the accomodations is that there was only one working elevator which made going back and forth to the room a chore.
The restaurant was a disappointment.
The service was very slow, despite there only being 3 or 4 tables seated and the food was not hot.
If you are going to stay there, I suggest eating elsewhere

I found the hotel convenient, comfortable, and nice. It's located about 8 miles from Times Square, with easy access to downtown. The hotel staff gave us directions for driving along with the other options available for getting downtown. The room was clean and the bed terrific. The next morning with had a wonderful breakfast for about one-third the cost of eating in Manhattan. I highly recommend the hotel. It's not fancy, but more than sufficient.
