Everything about this hotel was more than satifactory for us. It was easy to find. The service was excellent from the minute we arrived to the time we left. It's a beautiful hotel in a great location. The Restaurant is one of our favorites and I highly recommend "The Chef's Tastings". The rooms are clean, roomy and very comfortable. Only thing I would suggest is free wireless connection. If you are looking for a great place to relax this is the place. You do not even have to leave the hotel to have a good time. There is a marvelous theater located in the hotel and a live band in the bar. On our last visit the weather was nice enough to visit with friends on the patio next to a inviting fireplace. We had a great time. We will definitely be back our next trip to St Louis in June. This was our 3rd stay and I cannot complain about thing.

The Hotel lobby is gorgeous and the hotel has lots of amenities, but the suite we stayed in had a terrible view and the decor and furniture was unimpressive. I love old hotels, but for the price, the rooms lacked the charm of most older hotels that have been redone.

The Chase was fantastic! Located in the Central West End the Chase offered access to an entire street full of nice restaurants, bars, and Forest Park, one of St Louis's great attractions. The staff was very welcoming and tended to our every need. The hotel also has a nice pool, fitness center, spa, barber shop, and access to a number of other services. The rooms were very large with a sitting area, and bedroom, two TVs and a spacious bathroom.

The Chase Park Plaza Hotel is one of the most luxurious hotels I have ever stayed in. I made a last-minute reservation at this hotel. Very last minute. In fact, my taxi driver who picked me up at the bus station recommended this hotel as it was the only hotel located near the Pageant on Delmar Boulevard—the very reason I had come to St Louis in the first place. As soon as he dropped me off at the hotel, a valet opened the door to the taxi for me. I was stunned at how incredibly huge the hotel itself was. I was dressed in a sweatsuit and running shoes and felt quite out-of-place, however the staff were quick to make me feel at home. They treated me as though I was royalty and dressed in Gucci or Prada even though I was dressed like a pauper in Hanes and Adidas. This is service at its very finest! I was a walk-in and not sure if I would even be able to get a room but, to my surprise, there were many options available and so I chose a standard basic room. Upon check-in, I was given a key card to my room that had to be used in the elevator in order to get to my floor. I appreciated this security measure as I knew it allowed only bona fide guests of the hotel to gain access to the premises. Upon entering my room, I was stunned to find three large rooms, the first being my salon which had a comfy couch, an abundance of magazines, a heavenly stocked mini-bar, and a LCD television. My adjoining bedroom was equally large and contained a bed almost as tall as I am (5'2") piled high with comforters and some of the softest pillows I have ever slept on. The third room, my bathroom was freshly stocked with a dozen towels, a plush bathrobe, and every luxury item I could wish for. St. Louis welcome guides and hotel service guides were well-displayed. There were five restaurants, three bars, a heated pool, full service spa, 24-hour room service, and a movie theater in the hotel. (Yes, I said movie theater IN the hotel.) The staff were eager to please and catered to my every whim. My room, although a standard and their least expensive room, felt like a deluxe room. It was white-glove clean; I could have and would have eaten off the floor. This is the most expensive hotel I have ever stayed in, but well worth every penny and perfectly complimented my overnight stay in St. Louis. I felt like a queen, and was treated as such. I will never forget the Chase Park Plaza Hotel, not only for the unparalleled service, but also because I felt at home even though I was a 1000 miles away from my real home.
