In need of renovation

I felt good booking at the Downtown Radisson, but the place is run-down. The old bed, was not comfortable, the TV had a poor picture and the desk set up (lighting and chair) were poor. The restaurant was conveinient, but I when I went down, about 7pm, (on a Friday night) I stood at the hostess station for nearly 10 minutes waiting to be seated. I was never greeted, or acknowledged by any of the staff. I decided that finding a vending machine would be better and left the restaurant.
The bathroom was Spartan, and cramped. The water pressure was weak too.
The hotel is expensive, for the poor quality of amenities. I will never stay here again.
The lobby did look nice, and the Front Desk staff was helpful and friendly when I checked in.

I have stayed at the Akron Radisson many times. This time it was very disappointing. The food in the restaurant was over priced and not good. The pool water was very cold, the TV in the room did not work and I had no hot water for my morning shower. I was offered 2 free breakfasts from the front desk staff, but I did not feel this made up for the stay.
