Dont do it!! I know its cheap, but...

I would definitely spend a couple more dollars than to stay there again. I do my fair share of traveling, so I've stayed in many a hotel, but this one I would never recommend. After I checked in, I wanted to rest up a bit before hitting the beach, and after only five minutes of laying down i got really itchy, i got up and saw that something was biting me. I complained and they said there were no rooms available and that was it. Fortunately it was a double bed room and the other bed didnt give me any problems. Also i had to order fresh towels because when i grabbed a towel and opened it , it had make-up stains on it. they had just folded it up and put it back. No apologies. And yes i also experienced ants in the bathroom. All in all it was gross and dont go there, as cheap as it is, its still not worth it.
Would not stay here again!

We stayed here because of the proximity to the Newport area. First, there were ants in our room. Secondly, after spending the evening out at the Newport Pier, we came back at midnight to find there was NO parking left at the hotel. They suggested we park at the dumpy motel they also own down the street, and walk up to the travelodge! It was late and we were two young women. We had no choice but to do that. If I wanted to park at the cheapo motel, I would have stayed there. When we mentioned the inconvenience to the clerk at checkout, she didn't even offer an apology. It was disappointing. It was also very loud, with other patrons talking loudly outside until well after 2 am. There has got to be better alternatives for a motel than here, I am sorry to say...

I enjoyed my stay. The rooms were clean and large. The staff was very helpful and friendly. the pool kept the kids occupied!
