Perfect Honeymoon started and ended with the Fairmont

First off, I will like to say that I am a very hard person to please. We recently got married and wanted to go to the wine country for the honeymoon. I researched and came across the Sonoma Mission Inn and Spa. The price was perfect and the stay there was even better. From arriving to the check out, the service was top of the line. They gave us a room upgrade as well as a bottle of sparkling wine and chocolate covered strawberries. The complimentary bottle of wine hit the spot. The concierge was helpful finding vineyards and great discounts for both Sonoma and Napa Valley. Also, every night there is a wine tasting from one of the local wineries. The Spa was outstanding, the Roses and Wine Message is recommended for all couples. Between my wife and I, I don't know who enjoyed the Spa more. I recommend all couples both young and old to go to the Fairmont Somona Mission Inn and Spa.

Best place to stay in Sonoma

My wife and I live in the Bay area and the Fairmont Sonoma Mission Inn & Spa is the best place to say, by far, while visiting Wine Country. The Mission suites and Junior suites are well worth the extra expense in order to enjoy the jet tub, fire place, canopy bed, patio/balcony and the serenity of being away from the big city. The Spa is great and the golf at Sonoma Golf Club is perfect. There is a great variety of dining options not normally found at your typical wine country property, Sante for a romantic meal, Big 3 for a Casual inexpensive meal and the Sonoma Golf Club (Private-who all guests of the resort have full access to) has the best patio anywhere that we have been for that great outdoor patio dining experience. We are looking forward to returning for a mini Easter getaway. If you are planning on staying I suggest you sign up for the Fairmont Presidents Club prior to arrival to get the benefits of complimentary high speed internet and access in to the spa.

Great Stay in Sonoma

We originally wanted to stay in Napa, thinking that it was the place to be in Wine Country. Luckily, the prices were just too high in Napa and we ended up at the Fairmont on a great spa package that we saved quite a lot of money on. I can't believe how inexpensive it was for what we got! The Fairmont is a beautiful hotel - I'ts historic without being run-down, and quaint without being too small. The rooms are cozy and you get a free bottle of wine! Everything was clean and obviously well kept. The grounds are amazing, we got sidetracked walking to the spa and wandered around for a bit just to look around. The spa is amazing, too. The service from the time we walked in to the time we left was top notch. It seemed like everyone wanted to bend over backwards just to make us happy. We got spa treatments with the package we booked, and I had the most amazing facial ever. My husband loved his massage, too. I also reccomend looking at Sonoma instead of Napa - we liked it much better, but you can get to either destination easily from the hotel. The town of Sonoma is adorable, we hope to get back soon to spend more time exploring the area!

I Stayed 2 days at this location with my girlfriend and we were both extremely pleased with the Hotel. At night when I came back to the room after a nice romantic dinner at Saddles Steak House (++) They had the lights dim, soft music playing fire place lit the whole nine yards they even had my bath robe and shower shoes sitting perfectly for me to slip into them The hot tub was a definite plus, And the room service Breakfast we received was greatly appreciated and worth every bit the cost Lemon Pancakes and French Toast are worth two thumbs up.. I was very impressed and I am definately planning to go back to this location. Exquisite no doubt.
