If you are traveling to Sonoma you must stay at The Fairmont Sonoma Mission Inn & Spa. As soon as you pull in the sense of arrival is fantastic, the grounds are beautiful. Every employee we crossed path with was helpful, and kind, always smiling. Of course the spa is huge and being able to relax in the mineral waters is fabulous. The Signature Bathing Ritual is somethng you must try out. As well as Sante, the resorts fine dining restaurant. great service all around. Definitely will return and pass the word along to all my family and friends.

I took my wife to the Sonoma Mission inn for her birthday. We were only there for 24 hours, but it was by far our best travel experience ever. The staff was terrific, the service was very fast, everyone was smiling, the rooms were very clean the bottle of champaign the hotel manager sent us was terrific, we can't stop talking about it. We loved our time there and can't wait to come back. Thank you very much and keep up the good work!

My husband and I recently stayed at the Fairmont Sonoma Mission Inn & Spa ~ we were in dire need of a relaxing break in wine county. I have to say I was leary of booking this hotel as it was pricier then the others and we wondered why. All we had to do was arrive at this beautiful oasis in the middle of Boyes Hot Springs to understand why. The minute we entered the gates, we felt the stress escape us. The service was outsdanding & every employee we encountered was gleaming with happiness and professionalism. We spent a day at the Spa ~ also worth every penny & felt as though we were in heaven. My husband golfed one afternoon while I enjoyed lunch at the club house ~ a terrific experience also. The bed was SO comfortable & the sounds of the water fountains throughout the resort was an added relaxing bonus. I would definetly pay extra to stay there again and so would my husband!!

We spent three nights here thanks to a great deal through online travel website. The room was okay; glad we didn't spend the full price on it. Amazingly expensive for any 'extras'. The staff in general was unfriendly with the exception of the valets. The check in clerk just gave us a key and did not tell us about the grounds or the amenities. We didn't figure out the spa until the day before we left. We would have taken advantage of it earlier if someone had taken the time to let us know about it. It also would have been nice to know where we should park instead of just using the valet parking. We signed up for the president's club ahead of time but had to go back to the desk to activate it. This clerk kept looking down at his desk while he talked to us - no eye contact whatsoever. The concierge was also unfriendly as was the breakfast bar waiter.

We have stayed at the Fairmont twice and both times have been fabulous. The Mission Suites are tremendous. The amenities can be a little pricy but when you consider the atmosphere of relaxation that comes with this resort, they are well worth it. If you stay here, you must indulge yourself with the spa and six stage bathing ritual. This truly is the resort of choice for us. My wife and I cannot wait to return!
