Quote: nice place but not on the weekends when it's packed. we got moved out of our closet sized room to a much nicer room but we had to ask. make sure you ask for the top floor because you can hear every step from your guests above you.

Nickel and diming dims the experience

Quote: My husband and I had a one-night stay. Yes, it's an upscale experience, but the extra costs were extreme. I even had to pay to do the self-guided bathing ritual. The cost of the room was extremely high and this should be included. Obviously other... Read the full Fairmont Sonoma Mission Inn and Spa review

Quote: I read alot of reviews of SMI and many commented on the unfreindly and impersonal staff. I was very pleasantly suprised. Everyone was helpful and cordial. They upgraded us to a Jr Suite in the Wine Country portion of the hotel. It was quiet and... Read the full Fairmont Sonoma Mission Inn and Spa review

Quote: My husband and I recently stayed 4 nights at this hotel. It was truly a pleasure to stay in this beautiful, "wait on you hand and foot" hotel. The customer service was unsurpassed, from the valet parking, bellhops, front desk, etc. There... Read the full Fairmont Sonoma Mission Inn and Spa review

I had a nice suite with a fireplace and jacuzzi (highly recommended!). My only... Read the full Fairmont Sonoma Mission Inn and Spa review

Nice grounds, facilities; small, old room

Quote: The grounds are beautiful. The pool, spa and lobby are all great. The rooms are small and the main building is quite old, so the room is quite stuffy. The Villagio in Yountville is much better.

Overall great

Quote: Housekeeping was excellent; however, the walls were thin between the rooms, we could hear our neighbor whistling and our shower leaked when our neighbor was taking a shower. I definitely recommend going during the week as it is not so crowded... Read the full Fairmont Sonoma Mission Inn and Spa review

Would highly recommend the Mission Suite - we have traveled extensively, and this was by far a... Read the full Fairmont Sonoma Mission Inn and Spa review
