Exceeded expectations

This should be rated higher than a 3/5. Staff was very friendly. The hotel food was slightly expensive but the hotel is surrounded by myriad restaurants (both fast and sit down). Close to interstate, easy drive to Atlanta airport. Close to the military base for military travellers (within 10 minutes). The room was clean and relaxing. The only addition that would have been nice would have been the ability to rent movies via the TV. Wide range of cable channels though.
I do not want to stay in this hotel next time.

I do not want to stay in this hotel next time.
The second day of our trip we had a long day and went to the hotel around 8 PM. However, we found out that our room was the way we left it in the morning. It was not taken care of. We had to notify the front desk and waited at the lobby for 45 minutes. Also, my T-Shirt, which might have been taken with the towels by mistake the previous day, was not returned to me although I did notify the incident to the front desk clerk.
We never expected such inefficiency from the hotel.
Lots of Noise!

First clue should have been the ear plugs and sleep CD provided in the beautiful burgandy bag. I should tell you that the first two nights were OK, but the 3rd to 5th were misrable. Doors slamming all night, people yelling. I know that the security guard was on the floor several times. It was like a convention of unruly adults and the walls are thin! When the person next door flushed the toilet which happened alot it sounded like a jet plane taking off! On Friday and Saturday night my daughter and a friend stayed in another room that I paid for. The were put in a smoking room which is not what I paid for. The people in the room next door yelled yes yelled all night with the security guard coming to ask them to be quiet. It was not a plesent experience. To be constructive I would have to say that they need to remove the automatic door closers and provide better ear plugs! Too bad because the staff was nice and rooms were nice for the price. But it is just the luck of the draw who stays on your hall. I will not be back!

The Crwon Plaza was difficult to fid. After arriving the room I reserved was not available and I was given a "substitute." The room service was slow and the restaurant had limited items and the preparation was mediocre. Definitely a businessmans hotel as evidenced by the bar scene.

This hotel was renovated 2 years ago, and was gorgeous. The service was excellent, very professional and accomodating. The drinks and desserts were great. One afternoon we even came in to find complimentary cookies and water on our desk. I will definately stay here again next time.
