The renovations have been completed & property is OK. Only problem was the pull out sofa was wired shut underneath the bed (it was brand new) and the staff didn't have a clue in what to do or try to help get it open

This place is bad; very dirty. Understaffed with unhelpful people. Claims of renovation - nice try. Do not stay here.

The hotel turned away people with reservations; saying that they were renovating & no rooms were available. Even though they advertised free shuttle it was not. It was free from the airport; we had to wait over an hour to be taken two miles. We PAID the shuttle service to take us a restaurant they recommended and when we were done we waited a 1 1/2 hrs & three phone calls to be picked up. They had "just the day before" we arrived changed their shuttle policy so we also had to pay to get to the cruise ship.From that point on we only used taxi's and it was cheaper and more timely.

We were quite disappointed in this dump. If renovations are going on, we didn't see any. Very dirty. Staff was rude and not helpful. When we booked this, they were advertising free shuttle to Port Everglades, we got charged $20; claiming they "just changed their policy."
Stirling Suites Stink

What a disappointment from 3 years ago when we were there. It's in disrepair because of supposedly remodeling. That doesn't explain the dirt and neglect that is everywhere.
