Family Vacation Trip

My family and I decided our next vacation destination would be Chicago. First we checked out some hotels online in the city. After seeing how expensive they were, we decided to check out some near by suburbs. We also thought this would be a good idea since we aren’t exactly 100% big city people. In the end we picked the Wyndham Glenview Hotel. We stayed in a suite that was very nice and clean. It had two tvs, which was perfect for the kids and my husband. Since we drove to the area, the free parking really benefited us. One evening my husband watched the kids play in the pool, while I enjoyed the hot tub and sauna. This is a great hotel to stay in if wanting to be near the Chicago area.
Great Hotel in Glenview, IL

On a recent trip to visit a client, I had the pleasure of staying at the Wyndham Glenview Suites. It’s always a treat when I get to stay at an all-suite hotel because I can rarely afford to stay in a suite at a normal hotel. The room was huge as was the super comfy bed. I really enjoyed being able to view the flat screen TV while working on my laptop with free wireless Internet from the King size bed. There was also a refrigerator, microwave, and wet bar in the room.
Although I didn’t get a chance to engage in any of the off-site activities, it was exciting to be so close to so many. Six Flags Great Adventure and Hurricane Harbor were very close by as was the huge Gurnee Outlet Mall, both of which I’d like to stop by next time I’m in Glenview.
I ate in the Garden Atrium Café, which was beautiful, and the food was great. There were a ton of choices and many of them were healthy, which I appreciate. Porter’s Bistro was great for lunch and I definitely forgot I was eating hotel food. There were a lot of choices and I was pleasantly surprised with how good my food was.
I had a great time at the Wyndham Glenview Suites but I hope on my next visit I have time to take in some of the local flavor. There were a ton of attractions I would have liked to visit especially because they were all so close to this hotel. I’ll definitely stay at the Wyndham Glenview Suites again.

Beyond the lobby is a very attractive dining area which can be observed from above from indoor balconies. The rooms were top notch (business oriented), however we stayed there on personal travel. Big flat screen in main room of suite and another TV in bedroom. Bed may have been the best i've ever laid on - fantastic. We had a nice bottle of wine delivered late and ate at the bar in the evening - great experience - suite & entire hotel were beautiful - nothing bad to say
