this is my second time staying at this crowne plaza. you cant have a good thing more than once! this hotel is very unique and has really nice shops inside, but the staff are really not that hospitable. The beds were just ok, and the restuarant is not really that good. when we were eating our breakfast the waitress pretty much ignored us. for the price you pay it's just not worth it. there are many hotels in the akron area that are cheaper and more comfortable. next year ill stay elsewhere.
Overpriced for what you get

Would definitely like to see some improvements in food choices. They don't have anything really healthy--don't cater to diabetic travelers very well at all. I also resent paying for parking that is very limited when paying this much for the room. Have stayed here 4 times, just because of proximity to where I was working.
For a high end name this hotel does not measure up

I checked into this hotel and was presented to my unique room that can double as a morgue. It was so cold even when i placed the heat up to 90 degrees! After 2 1/2 hrs I was told that is just as warm as it gets. The service was very poor no hospitality here. I was to stay for 3 days I will be checking out after 1 cold night. The rooms decor were unique but not clean the entire base board around the room had lint/debris of those who stayed here in the 1800's I wonder if the rooms are like broilers in the summer..... it is as cool as it gets ;-) For the money not worth it.

This hotel is the most unique hotel I have ever stayed at. The only problem is that the pool was 60 degrees and I was told that was as high as it goes.
