Saint Louis Hilton Frontenac

This hotel used to be a collection of 2 to 3 motels that was bought by a Saint Louis family and over the years was connected together. There are some 110 rooms that are spread out over 9 acres with the adjoined buildings all only being two stories because of Frontenac city law. The hotel is mostly occupied by business men and women from local companys traveling clients. The hotel is at least 10-12 miles from the downtown Saint Louis, MO. The hotel is very drab and not very impressive, especially for the rate they ask for accommodations. Try a hotel in Clayton, MO for the same price but much better for the money. This would be a dump in the Hilton chain....if you don't believe me just stay one night and then make other reservations for the rest of your stay. The only reason to stay here would if the whole entire city was booked for the Cardinals game. I'm being honest.....

I want the bed and pillows at my house. Stayed for a wedding, very quite, roomy, and went to the in house bar - great.

My stay at this hotel was a pleasant surprise. It is close to shopping and restaurants, the rooms are large and quiet and the staff is most friendly, especially Ann in the executive lounge. Her recommendations for dining were outstanding.
