Better Than Expected

Read the previous reviews with great reservations, but was tremendously surprised. The room (532) was completely rennovated with new carpet, marble counter tops, refrigerator, furniture, carpet, bedding etc. I've stayed up and down this part of the coast, and for the money, this is a can't miss deal. Not sure if all the rooms have the new decor, but with free internet, the fresh look and the rolling waves, it was a pleasurable experience. BTW, gave it four smilies because only a 5-star hotel that exceeds expectations receives the top billing. Kudos Four Points.

The room was just okay, nothing special. The only great thing about the hotel was the view.

Need better maid service.

With the exception of poor maid service and rooms needing to be modernized, the holet is fine. Wonderful front desk & restaurant/bar staff. Rooms weren't very clean or comfortable for the price paid. They also had 18 wheeler trailers all over the parking lot for repairs from Hurricane IVAN!
