It was a good hotel, The room was clean enough and the staff where very friendly. It is also in a nice place. The hotel was not very easy to find. Hilton Head in general is not a good place find anything in the night. Try to make it to the hotel before sun down.
The Hilton Oceanfront is better

This resort is primarily for families- not couples. The rooms need updating and cleaning. The "live entertainment" is a cheesy guy on guitar by the pool. NOT worth the Priority Club points I saved up for this 2 day vacation. The up side is the Seafood Buffet, it's great!
Fun but Expensive

My husband and I went to this hotel without our kids and while the hotel was nice and the pools were great, there were so many activities for kids to do that we felt like it was more of a family resort than couples resort. Not a bad thing, just something to keep in mind. Our trip was great, but I thought the room was a little overpirced. Otherwise great trip and great customer service.

Our trip to Hilton Head Island was great and the Crown Plaza was a pleasant surprise for the price. We found our room to be very nice with the exception of the lighting in the bathroom - not so good for putting on make-up. The bed/sleep-system was very comfortable. The staff were all very nice, friendly and helpful. The hotel grounds were beautiful even so early in the spring. The temps were cool so we didn't use the pool and the patio bar wasn't open, but it seemed like it would have been nice to hang out there. It was a quiet and very peacful stay.

This hotel was well worth the money. The rooms were very clean and provided extra benefits that most hotels don't; such as a sleep cd, a refrigerator full of goodies (with a small fee of course), and a spacious room that was fresh and clean. The room service come until noon, which was nice. It is in a remote location and just a walk away from the ocean. The staff was very helpful and friendly.The valet was a nice option in the colder weather. It is a very classy place at an affordable price. We were VERY impressed.
