You get what you pay for

I have stayed here several times and if you just keep in mind that you get what you pay for you will be fine. Don't expect the Ritz, that is not what you are buying. It is a convenient, fairly clean, fairly comfortable budget motel, only a few miles from everything the City of Los Angeles has to offer. Take that and a price tag of $$ a night on average and be happy with it.

2nd Worst hotel I've ever stayed at...

The room smelled like wet cigarettes, the walkways smelled really bad. I hope I never have to stay in a hotel like this again.

Should have sprung for a better place...

I don't even know where to begin with this horrific place. The bed was uncomfortable, the sink had yellow stains (I don't even want to know), the bathtub had so much dirt in it that I had to rinse it out before using it, the water cycled between hot and cold throughout the duration of the shower, the towels were rough, the toilet didn't flush completely, the doors - both to the room itself and to the bathroom - were not airtight in the slighted and I could hear sounds of traffic all night. The power went out countless times throughout my stay, and I would have missed check-out if it hadn't been for my cell phone. Parking is almost non-existent, and gangs roamed the area at night. I didn't pay much for this place, but I still overpaid in spades.

Easy Access

We stayed 5 days in the area and loved the easy access to the interstate. The room was clean but smelled a bit musty. We bought a candle and got the room smelling like home. The bathroom was clean but quite worn. That didn't stop us from enjoying a hot shower everynight. The maid service was excellent! We asked about the hotel parking and the staff assured us that they had security to watch the premisses but we never saw anything like a security guard patrolling the grounds. The walls are quite hollow. A room was being remodeled a few doors down from us and the smell outside our room was gross from the materials (paint and such). Hotel staff suggested I might have to sit around the pool area to use the wireless internet or sit in the office lobby but our internet connection was good enough to use from our hotel room. Overall, our stay was a pleasant one that was well worth the savings. I would definately recommend to anyone looking for a bargain to stay here at the Good Nite Inn.
