There are only four reviews on the site and the one by RH is intriguing. He complains about the rooms, the price and the staff, even calls it RUDE. He is dead-wrong on all acoounts. I just stayed with my wife at the hotel for one night and found everything highly satisfactory, the room itself and its layout, its cleanliness and condition, the hallways, the lobby, the breakfast room for a fine continental breakfast. The price is definitely acceptable for a hotel in the New York City vicinity. I was especially impressed by the friendliness and the helpfulness of the staff, all of them, in whatever position. Everyone had a friendly smile and greeting. I give the hotel high marks - and I am a national and international traveler, both in North America and in Europe.I am still baffled by RH's harsh and unfair review. I give the establishment five stars for its category. There is a wonderful diner across on Route 22 almost opposite the hotel, just a few yards away. BUT - it is little tricky to reach. One has to watch the traffic!

I was here on business travel - this has to be the best deal under a hundred bucks in the area. Not sure if there would be much for little kids to do, but there are restaurants and a huge mall within a few minutes' drive - definitely a safe neighborhood - next door to a Mercedes-Benz dealership. Clean and quiet rooms, breakfast was good, staff was nice. I would definitely stay here again.
