I think "Anonymous" from Costa Mesa is referring to a different hotel/resort, not Borrego SPRINGS resort. There are no casitas nor private pools. Perhaps she is thinking Borrego Springs Ranch or the Montessoro resort.

go to the seldom used pool by the restaurant. all things close early in borrego. get a 2nd floor suite facing the pool. it's great.
