After a week on a packaged tour, with a wide range of hotel experiences, the Bass Rocks Ocean Inn was a welcome treat for our last night in New England. Clean, quiet, great view and location. We will certainly return.

My husband and our 2 children wanted to get away for the weekend and I found this website and started reading reviews. We went to the Bass Rocks Ocean Inn Best Western in Gloucester MA. What a great place! It was very very clean, the staff was so friendly and so much to do . There are bikes to ride NO CHARGE and an activities room with a pool table, board games and internet. A nice pool and even gas cookers for grilling if you want . I will keep going back for years to come!

There is tons to do in Gloucester! The Cape Ann Museum is the best bargain around. Amazing collection. Walk the streets that Ed Hopper walked and painted! Go to great beach at Good Harbor! Wonderful sand bar! Never saw anything like it. Great downtown with antique and craft stores. Where did this woman go? Great restaurants.
