Location ok, front desk service good, iffy wi-fi access (kept dropping connection), pillows really need to be upgraded. Overall, a good value for the money

Comfortable bed, large room with couch. Superior breakfast. Good location with many restaurants nearby. Pool only open in summer, no hot tub.
NO LINEN - DIRTY COFFEE

I had a room with a queen bed and a sofa for my son and myself. What's the point of having a pull-out sofa bed if there is no linen to go on the bed? Wake up to make a pot of coffee in the room only to find that the coffee pot had coffee remaining in the pot from who knows when. All for the low, low price of $* per night (tax included).
On the positive, the breakfast bar had a wide variety of foods and tasted good.

Our first room had a small ant trail, but they found another room for us immediately. Then they cleaned the room. We had many requests from the front desk the first nite there and the staff was very accommodating and pleasant even though we felt like a bit of a burden. In fact, it's the whole reason were taking a group of 8 couples back around Christmas for a retreat. Our second room was very clean and the stay was very relaxing, which was what we wanted.

My stay was uneventful, comfortable, pleasant. The room was tiddy and comfortable and pleasantly decorated. The breakfast buffet was a cut above for a room of this price. The front desk clerk was responsive to my need for a room with easy access. The night clerk was not as helpful and was unable to manage people coming to the desk, answer phones, and modify reservations (over heard) - irritating but not a catastrophe. The facility is tucked away just far enough from the main thoroughfare to feel unhurried and ambient noise eliminated. I plan on staying again when I visit my family.
