Pleasant Surprise!

I stayed at this hotel for 2 nights on a business trip, and was pleasantly surprised at how much I enjoyed the stay!
The hotel is either very new or very well-maintained because everything looked in great condition.
The rooms are nicely furnished and the bedding is very comfortable. The pillows are labeled "soft" or "firm" so you can make your choice. Rather than a bedspread, beds have duvets.
The bathroom includes standard amenities, but also very thick, fluffy towels. This will seem like a small thing to most, but as a woman who travels a lot – and has to blow-dry her hair a lot – I really appreciated the decent blow-dryer in the bathroom, instead of the type most hotels have that do as much good as blowing on your hair yourself and make as much noise as an airplane coming in for a landing.
The exercise room was a decent size, containing 5 pieces of exercise equipment: 3 treadmills, 1 recumbent bike, and 1 stair-stepper. Even though the hotel was full, I had no trouble accessing the equipment. They also have a pool with a waterslide, but I didn’t use it so can’t comment.
Like most hotels these days, they do provide free wi-fi and a business center with computer and printer. Both are things I appreciate greatly as a business traveler.
The breakfast provided many choices including cereal, muffins, eggs, meat, fruit, and yogurt. Everything, including the coffee, was kept well-stocked throughout the breakfast time. Tea and coffee are available 24 hours.
The front desk staff was very friendly and welcoming. They recognized and acknowledged me when heading in or out of the hotel; they asked how my day was, gave me weather updates and restaurant recommendations. They also allowed me to check out late so I could keep working up to flight time.
I would recommend this hotel to others.

Great place to stay.

I had a very enjoyable stay at the Holiday Inn Express while in Dickinson. Quiet, comfortable and close to everything. Frank made sure that there was plenty of breakfast choices available every morning. Good dining next door. I will stay there again.

Holiday Inn Express

Our stay in the Holiday Inn Express in Dickinson pleasant. Our check in went smoothly, the clerk telling us where to park, answering questions very helpfully, and getting us to our room with ease. I love good service.

The room we had held two queen beds, two comfortable chairs, a desk, end table, adequate lighting and plentiful bathroom supplies. Our maid was over zealous in providing us a clean room, she took our large bar of soap, but left plenty of the hotel's supplies in exchange. Maid wake up occurs about 8:30am - I never like it in a hotel but understand the necessity. We left our window open on a Sunday night and found ourselves wakened by the garbage men in the morning - the noise level in general is very quiet, especially if you use air-conditioning which we try to avoid.

Breakfast was wonderful - lots of toast it yourself, cereals, fresh sweets, healthy fresh fruits and juices, and peanut butter and cream cheese. They probably had more, I just didn't look further.

The hotel features a kiddy pool with slide and they are serious about the description. The work out room had two treadmills and one bicycle. A nice place to stay overall.

Another quality motel from Holiday Inn Express. This is a college town, and between the new students and the bikers from Sturgis, we felt fortunate to get a room. I didn't check it out, but I was told that they have a water slide and an indoor pool as well as all the usual amenities - laundry, business center, etc. Our room was, as usual, clean and quiet.
