We booked a weekend stay (2 nights) at the Vina Del Mar in Rocky Point, Mexico, for an opportunity to get away and enjoy the ocean. Upon arriving at the hotel, which is an older hotel located at the far east end of the Fish Market in downtown Rocky Point, my wife's 11-year-old son grabbed the room keys and headed up to check out the room on the fourth floor. He came running back down the stairs and said, "Mom, there's someone in our room." She replied,"Oh, there is not. Quit fooling around." "Yes, there is. Go up and look" When she opened the door, sure enough, there was a woman stark naked on the king-size bed and a man just as naked. They both turned to the door. The woman had a disgusted look on her face and the man said something inappropriate. She closed the door, went back to the reception desk, and asked for a different room.

We were put into a first floor suite with two double beds that were as hard as a rock and two sofas in the living room area that could be used as two singles. The best part of the room was that the balcony was directly over the rocks at the shoreline, and when the tide was in the waves crashed on the wall 10 feet below.
