I think I must be a miser, at least in the matter of accommodation, because the proper March price very easily fits into the bottom price category above but I thought it was unreasonably high and haggled it down a bit.
It is quite easy to miss the place as it only has the tiniest of signs but it is near to the centre and Taormina is now fairly pricey because its status has shot up relatively recently - this town must have been an outstanding find not that long ago.
There is not much to be said about it - rooms are a bit on the small side but OK. It certainly could not justify being called 'atmospheric' and any superlatives would be misplaced.
I think it would be sensible to book accommodations in the summer - or to stay out of town.
