Best Things Nearby:
Zion Canyon, Snow Canyon, Bryce Canyon, the Tuacan theatre, and all the historical sites were the best things.

Best Things About the Resort:
It is in a great location, right by a golf course. It had two swimming pools, an adult one and a family pool. Units were well supplied, private.

Resort Experience:
This place was easy to get to. We had a two-bedroom unit, which was quite private, overlooking one of the pools. It had recently been remodeled and refurbished. There were plenty of towels. There was one general laundry room that became very busy mid-week. It would have been nice to have laundry facilities right in the unit. We really enjoyed our stay.

Zion Canyon, Bryce Canyon, Snow Canyon, Brigham Young winter home

Best Things About the Resort:
Located in a really nice town, very convenient to various national parks, quiet area.

Resort Experience:
We stayed in a two-bedroom, one-bath unit. The resort was undergoing renovation but the work did not affect us. It will be even nicer once finished. Our unit was beside a heated pool which was used daily (in January). There were nice views of the surrounding areas from the resort. There was also an atrium in the middle of the unit so renters could go into it and sit if they wished. The resort was built on a golf course. It also has activities for children.

Best Things Nearby:
There were plenty of restaurants and shopping nearby.

Best Things About the Resort:
The resort staff was very friendly. The unit had a beautiful view of the mountains. The location was convenient.

Resort Experience:
I had received a letter from The Ore before our trip stating we would have a two-bedroom, two-bath unit and other information about the resort (which would come in handy). We flew into Las Vegas and drove to the resort (about two-hour drive). When we checked in and was assigned our unit we noticed it had only one bath. Since there were five of us, we felt we needed two baths I took the letter to the office and was given a two-bath unit, which had a great view facing the mountains.

The resort was in a nice location, not on a busy street, but close to restaurants, etc. The resort staff was very nice and accommodating. There were crafts for the children to do on certain days and a welcome party. My kids colored a shirt and made a sun visor. We missed the welcome party due to wanting to get an early start on visiting the Canyons. There was golfing on the grounds of the resort plus a putting green. We aren't into golf but did enjoy the putting green. There were two pools -- one for adults only and a children's pool. Since we went in August, the temperatures were around 100 degrees however there wasn't the humidity and the heat didn't bother us.

St. George had a good selection of restaurants and a few good shopping areas for a small city. The reason for visiting St. George was to see as many National Parks as possible. Three of the National Canyons were within a three-hour drive. We did day trips to Zion, Bryce and the North Rim of the Grand Canyon. The resort had a list of all the area attractions and the distances to each. I would have liked to gone to Arches National Park also, but it was about a four or five hour from the resort and we thought that too far to go on a day trip.
