The resort rooms of Fishermen's Village are located above the shopping and various restaurants of the complex. The atmosphere is relaxed and perfect for boaters who wish to fill their day with cruising Charlotte Harbor and the Intercoastal Waterway. Several sightseeing destinations are within a short to moderate boat ride, including Boca Grande, Cabbage Key, and Captiva Island.
The only negative comment I can make about the resort is that typically on Saturday nights, the restaurant/bar Smuggler's Cove recieves a lot of traffic until the early morning hours, making a restful night's sleep difficult.
