This eco-resort was very attractive, comfortable, and a lot of fun! Perched on a cliff over Buchanan Lake, the resort has an excellent restaurant with beautiful views and really good food. The resort consists of cottages--some facing the lake, an observatory, 14 miles of nature trails, The Vanishing Texas River Cruise and recreation areas. The cottage was very clean and comfortable. The pool is really nice--made of rock with trees around it--and feels more like a water hole than a manmade pool! Make sure to go to the free star-gazing session after dark. We had a great time with a few guests and a member of the Austin Astrological Society.
