Intercontinental Beachcomber Moorea

The hotel offers a range of accommodations, ranging from standard rooms in the main hotel building to beach bungalows and over-water suites.

We stayed in one of the beach bungalows for three nights and were extremely impressed with the accommodation. The bungalow was large and spacious, featuring a king-size bed and a separate good-size sitting room. The bathroom was also a good size, with a bath and separate shower. The views from the bungalow were great, with a lagoon directly on the beach in front of the room.

The hotel, though a relatively large complex, is well spread out, so you get a real feeling of seclusion. It's a luxury hotel, but the service and quality exceeded expectations, and I know we'd love to go back there one day. It was pricey, but for our honeymoon, it was well worth the money.

Moorea Village

Moorea Village offers budget accommodations in a lovely setting. It offers a lot of bang for the buck, and it''s the perfect place for people looking to save some money, while travelling with family or friends. It''s not luxury, and anyone expecting that will be disappointed- but it''s good basic stuff, with a perfect bar to watch the sunset from while the stingrays cruise the shallow waters right in front. You won''t be sorry about spending a little extra for a beach-front bungalow; they''re kept cooler by the breezes from the lagoon, and you can''t beat the sunset viewing.

The accomodations here are quite nice. The rooms are large and the bathrooms are ample. The hotel provides hair driers and the basic toiletries. We stayed in one of the main buildings, but the over-water bungalows are really awesome. Definitely highly recommended for those wanting privacy. The resort is laid out very well, and the grounds are gorgeous. The staff are extremely helpful and food in the hotel restaurants is really good. There are special dinner events a couple of times per week including a beach BBQ and a Tahitian dance show dinner. The surrounds are lush and peaceful.
