This particular pension is run by a very friendly family, who were accommodating from the get-go. The rooms are small, basic, sparse, but clean and functional. There are two bathrooms to share (and I think there are about 8 rooms, so it's never a problem),a kitchen, though it's not for use by guests (this place would've been perfect if only...)
The location is great - on a small street off plaza maria pita in the old city center, and one block from the bay. No air conditioning, but it wasn't hot enough in July to miss it. I would recommend this place if you want something cheap, easy, clean, safe and basic. For 30 euros (double room) this place was a homerun.
