Description: Although I was apprehensive about staying at a B&B (my parents made the travel plans), it was actually fun. We stayed in the "studio" at the Seascape, with a kitchen and a loft. It was cramped, but there was enough room for the four of us. Our favorite part was the poolside breakfast each morning. Served buffet style, it includes waffles, fruit, bagels, muffins, and even a mimosa if you choose. Keeping you company are the two resident cats.
Another attribute of the Seascape is its location. Just half a block from the Hemingway house and not even a block from Duval Street, it was incredibly convenient. We didn't use a car all week. We did, however, choose to rent bikes from the Seascape for a minimal price, which turned out to be a marvelous way to get around the island.
Oh, and if you stay at the Seascape (or probably anywhere in Key West), be sure to bring earplugs, as the roosters can keep you up all night. Don't worry if you forget, as the proprietor at Seascape, Beth, has some to give you.
