The amenities are good for a campground though: two swimming pools (one indoor and one outdoor), rec room, small golf course, restaurants, and a beach (by the golf course).

At first we were taken aback by the rules about no noise in the indoor pool area and that children under 19 had to be attended by an adult during any activity. However, the staff was very kind and helpful and most of the residents were extremely friendly, so we relaxed and begin to try to fit in with their lifestyle. Our 16-year-old boy even became the most popular dancer during the evening line dancing lessons.
We learned how to play shuffleboard and bocchi ball and we discovered that while there were complaints about our two little girls squealing in the indoor pool, the outdoor pool was actually warmer and their squealing was acceptable there.
The resort runs a little homestyle restaurant during the summer and fall. The food is delicious and the waitresses are friendly grandmother types. There is also another, year round, restaurant on-site which we didn't try, but heard that it is a popular destination for the community at large.
We are left with nice memories of Holiday Park and would not hesitate to visit there again.
